Eshani has over ten years of experience in investment banking. She has been a team member of many successful equity and debt offerings covering multiple industries including the largest debenture IPO on the CSE to date. Eshani specialises in executing asset-backed financing, loan syndications, credit and debit card securitisations and debenture issues. She has been actively involved in raising over LKR 150 billion for corporates via a range of transactions.
Eshani has an MBA from the University of Colombo and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She is also an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA).
Sujani has over ten years of investment banking experience at NDBIB. Since joining NDBIB, Sujani has engaged in a diverse range of capital market transactions including IPOs, M&As, rights issues, private placements, corporate restructurings, loan syndications, structured debt facilities and delistings for leading corporates spread across an array of industries, some of which have been milestone transactions for the Company and the country. Sujani is responsible for sourcing and advising clients with regard to capital market transactions, both in listed and unlisted space.
Sujani holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Financial Economics (Merit) from the University of Colombo. Sujani is also an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA).
Vidushini has over eight years work experience at NDBIB. Since joining NDBIB, Vidushini has engaged in several milestone M&A transactions, initial public offerings, fund raisings and advisory services to listed and unlisted corporate entities. She employs her unique combination of expertise in law, regulations and corporate finance to provide advice to a diverse spectrum of transactions.
Prior to joining NDBIB Vidushini worked at Amsafe Bridport (Private) Limited and Dialog Axiata PLC for 4 years.
Vidushini has an MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management (PIM) Sri Lanka and B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Computing from University of Wolverhampton, UK. Vidushini is also an Attorney at Law and an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA).
Rukshan joined the NDB Group in 2013 and has since been actively involved in transactions carried out by NDBIB in a range of sectors including financial services; hotels and properties; manufacturing; power and energy; and healthcare. Rukshan specialises in financial modeling, valuation, structuring, M&As and equity raising and counts over 9 years of experience.
Rukshan holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of London and has completed his CFA – Level II examination. Prior to joining NDBIB, he worked as an Associate Consultant in the Corporate Finance and Strategy Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Nikita Joined NDBIB in 2022 and currently works in a wide range of transactions. He had been an analyst of both debt and equity in SL capital markets for over 15 years. Nikita is graduate with an Economics and Management degree from the London School of Economics.
Charith started his career at NDBIB and now counts over 3 years of experience. During his time at NDBIB, he played a key role in executing several landmark transactions, namely, the IPO of RIL which pioneered the cornerstone investor strategy on the Colombo bourse, revival of the distressed finance company, City Finance Corporation and the acquisition of United Motors Lanka by RIL. Charith was also a key member in structuring a pension scheme and an employee share option scheme to one the largest banks in Sri Lanka.
Charith has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. He has also completed all three levels of the CFA programme and is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.
Akila Karunarathne has over four years work experience in financial services. Since joining NDBIB, Akila has engaged in several debenture issues, commercial papers and securitised debt facilities for multiple corporates.
Akila has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. Akila has completed his CFA – Level II examination and is currently a Level III candidate.
Dilum has over five years work experience in financial services including roles in IFS R&D International (Pvt) Ltd, Union Bank of Colombo PLC and First Capital Holdings PLC. Dilum currently supports the Debt Capital Markets division of NDBIB in structuring and placement of a wide variety of debt instruments.
Dilum holds a BBA (Hons) in Finance from the University of Colombo and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is also an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA), an associate member of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, UK (CISI) and a passed finalist of Banking examinations conducted by Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL). Dilum is currently a Level I candidate of the CFA examination.
Savinda joined NDBIB in 2020 and is currently engaged in a range of corporate advisory transactions including business valuations and M&As. Prior to joining NDBIB he worked as an Engineer at MAS Intimates (Pvt) Ltd.
Savinda has a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK and is also a Level II candidate of the CFA examination.
Sulakshana joined NDBIB in 2021 and has been involved in some of the significant corporate advisory transactions executed by NDBIB, including IPOs, M&As and Business Valuations. Prior to joining NDBIB he worked as a Credit Analyst at Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services (now Acuity Knowledge Partners).
Sulakshana has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a CFA Charterholder. He is currently a Final Level Exam Candidate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL).
Dushyanthi joined NDBIB in 2021 and has been involved in a range of corporate advisory transactions executed by NDBIB, including IPOs, M&As and valuations.
Dushyanthi is a graduate in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering with a first-class honours degree from the University of Moratuwa, a Passed Finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA). She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (CIM). Dushyanthi is currently a Level II candidate of the CFA examination.
Vindula joined NDBIB as an Intern in 2021, and has since been involved in a wide array of Corporate Advisory transactions, including IPOs, Valuations and M&As.
Vindula is a graduate in Finance with a first-class (Special) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is an Affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA).
Thilini joined NDBIB in 2021 and is currently engaged in the Debt Capital Market transactions including listed and unlisted debenture issues, securitized debt facilities and term loans.
Thilini has a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of London, UK and an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA). She has also successfully completed all three levels of CFA examination.
Dasuni joined NDBIB in 2021 and is currently engaged in transactions of Debt Capital Markets division.
Dasuni is a graduate in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with a first-class degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and has completed level II of CFA examination. She is also Passed Finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA) and AAT Sri Lanka.

Chathun is a graduate in Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance Special) - University of Colombo. He has also successfully completed all three levels of CFA examination. he is currently reading for the Final Level of Chartered Accountancy in Institute of Chartered Accountants in Sri Lanka (ICASL).
